The People's Church International An International Fellowship Empowering People to Gather, Grow and Go
Founded by Pastors, Paul and Elaine Briers, The People's Church in association with YWAM Worcester was birthed around Easter 2005. Their vision is simply to Gather, Grow and Go. To Gather the lost, poor and needy. To Grow in friendship, worship and service. To Go as disciples and leaders into all the world.
Linked with this vision is their community focus based on Matthew 25 and a passion to reach children and young people for Jesus. Above all, however, it is to see a new breed of church established in Worcester where everyone feels loved, accepted and welcome. Whether a YWAMmer passing through or a local resident who lives in a shack, each week The People's Church is bringing together people from differing cultural, generational and geographical backgrounds to worship together!
Visit the team at their offices on the High Street (Opposite Debonaire's Pizza) or join The People's Church each week for an hour an a half of praise and worship, teaching and fellowship. They meet in the wonderful facilities at De La Bat School that include ample parking space, air conditioned auditorium, a crche for children under 3 years old and Sunday school facilities. If you don't have transport then you can make use of their Bus Ministry that stops at various locations around the local townships.
